The Mid-Atlantic ROMP is a hub for connecting supply and demand throughout the mid-Atlantic— between stakeholders with a likeminded understanding of the critical importance of locally sourced native plant materials (NPM).

Businesses, organizations, agencies, and other entities with a vested interest in the development of the local NPM supply chain in the mid-Atlantic region are invited to list their services and/or needs on the Mid-Atlantic ROMP.
All ROMP listings are free and allow users to: create custom profiles in ROMP, amplify their services, supply, and demand for local NPM, and engage with the community by posting events, announcements, advertisements, and jobs to community boards.
ROMP is not an ecommerce platform, but a platform for posting, gathering, and searching for information about the current supply and demand for NPM in the region.

Understanding the state of demand for native plant materials is critical for suppliers to take on the risk of bringing new products to market.
On ROMP, NPM consumers can express demand for native species and product types, including those which are not already available on the market. By congregating end-users to make this demand known, we can start to broaden the scope of the mid-Atlantic NPM supply chain.
The reported demand for native species comes together on the Demand Snapshot dashboard. Here, stakeholders can view the Species Summary, where MARSB has aggregated the frequency of demand for native species across the ecoregions of the mid-Atlantic.
